    • Hello Maida,

yes, I’ll write a sequel about Tristan. In fact, book six will tell his story and will be published in September of this year.
I’m sorry I left you hanging with regard to Tristan’s fate, but Henrietta and Connor’s story was told and I felt Tristan deserved his own book, not just a few chapters.
It’s always difficult to decide which characters to write about next. Book five is about Charlotte, who was a minor character in book three. Other minor characters from book three (Madeline and Oliver) shall receive their own story in books seven and eight.
There’s never truly and end to the story, is there? 🙂

If you’re eager to read Tristan’s story, sign up for my mailing list since I generally offer an ARC to the readers on my list about a month before publication.

All the best and I hope I didn’t put you off reading the following novels!

      Bree

      • In
        Once UponA Devilishly Enchanting Kiss

You make a reference to Seuss’s The Cat in a Hat

But it wasn’t written until sometime much later than the regency era

        Otherwise, I love your books

  1. I just read your book Forgotten and Remembered and I couldn’t put it down. Very enjoyable now I am trying to purchase the second one but I am having trouble!

    • Hello Bonnie,

I’m delighted that you enjoyed Forgotten & Remembered. Would you mind writing a short review?
How are you having trouble with book two? Anything I can help you with?

      All the best,

      Bree

  2. Love’s Second Chance Series, I have loved them all, after reading book 6, Betrayed and Blessed I really need to know how Triston’s friend and Beth’s half sister get on, they both deserve future happiness, as this is the end of the series I am rather worried that the question will never be answered which would be a shame and leave the lovely series incomplete to me

    • Hello Gloria,
don’t worry: Derek will get to tell his story in book seven and Adelaide hers in book ten. The series is nowhere near finished. At present, I’m planning a total of fifteen novels.
I hope that put your mind at ease. Would you consider leaving a review?
      All the best, Bree

  3. I have left top ratings in my reviews of your novels and just love them. I wrote about Tristan and am working my way up to his story (next in line) but I’m trying to read them in order. After the first book–I bought all that I could for my Kindle! Amazon is my source of book.
I really enjoy your books for many reasons and you grammar is one of them. There are very few take/bring errors (which make my teeth grind) and only a few “she poured herself” (no one can pour themselves) she poured a cup of tea for herself is the right way! BUT in your books, My teeth stay quiet and no speed bumps from bad grammar! Thank you.

I am already signed up for mailing list and advance readers–my hubby says I’m a nit picker and can find tiny errors in books!

  4. i love to read and especially enjoyed a strong heroine who came into her own without having to be a long, drawn out victim. Hurray for your women and the men who display their own flaws!

  5. I “met you” through Fireflies, it’s funny how life real events can connect you in a way that you start to feel every word you wrote.
I was amazed with this story and also how so real it could be.
You do feel a knot towards the ending and it lingers there, you don’t forget or let it go.

I truly thank you for this story, it was worth every inch of my time.

P.S I apologize for any spelling or structure.

  6. When will book 16 of LSC be released? Also looking for possible date for Henri’s story. Thanks so much. Love these characters and strong stories.

    • Hi Teresa,

yes, book 16 will be coming this summer.
But I’m afraid, Henri’s story has to wait a little longer. But it’ll come! I promise!

      All the best,

      Bree

  7. I am a binge reader and have thoroughly enjoyed your books! I have to know … who fed Aiden? Just how did an newborn eat? Was Claudius milk still there? After two weeks? This is the very first one of your books that those hints didn’t quite align for me.

  8. Please give Henri and Juliet their Happy ending too!…i have read this whole series so far in 2 weeks! Doing my social distancing by reading YOUR books. Love your interconnected stories. Just when I get through one I think is my absolute favorite , I start the next one and think ‘ no, this one is my new favorite ‘!

    • Hi Cathie,

oh, I love to hear that! Thank you so much! Henri and Juliet will get their story as well, but you still need to be a little more patient. So far, it has not been written down yet. I hope you’ll be enjoying the next ones to come as well.

      All the best,

      Bree

  9. I just downloaded Oppressed & Empowered and looking forward to reading it. The character, Richard, with Asperger is an intriguing one. I have certified as a special needs travel advisor and especially the autism spectrum.

  10. There seem to be two further titles in the Happy Ever Regency series after ‘Hoe to Steal a Thief’s Heart” but I cannot find them. Are they available to buy/pre-order somewhere? Will they come into the Kindle store?

  11. Bree,
Sometimes we easily connect with characters though the author’s writing style. I have laughed and cried so many times I’ve lost count. I’ve read the 16 book series for the second time and I love the characters even more. I do hope that Ian will find his happy ending however that might take place. I hope it was little Blair’s dream come to pass. I also can’t wait to read Henri and Juliet’s happy ever after. I’ll keep checking back. Thank you for providing a hopeful and happy (though sometimes sad) escape from the stresses of real life.
    Tamra

    • Hello Tamra,

thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad to hear you enjoy them so much.

Henri’s and Juliet’s HEA will not have to wait for much longer now.

      All the best,

      Bree

  12. I just discovered your books and they are all amazing !!!!!
I cried my eyes out during Nathan and Maggie’s story.
When will Ian’s story be released?
Also do you have a list of how all your books are related? And it what order they should be enjoyed?
Thank you so much for so many wonderful hours of reading you have given me.

  13. Since the last book is sort of a prequel to the first book, does this mean that he Happy Ever Regency Series is complete? I sensed maybe a book about the real heir to Lord Amhurst, and maybe more about Abigail?

Anyway, I have enjoyed these books. Read them one right after the other! 🙂

    Shari

    • Hi Shari.

Yes, for now the series is complete. But you’ll never know 😉

I’m glad you are enjoying the series.

      All the best,

      Bree

  14. Good morning Bree,
I owned, read, and most of your books and love all of them!
Right now I’m midway reading the “Once Upon a Temptingly Ruinous Kiss (Whickertons in Love Book 2). I pray you’ll have a story for Lady Juliet (hopefully a duke for her). I hope to hear from you.
    Susan

    • Hi Susan,

I’m so glad to hear that you enjoy my books. And yes, Juliet will get her own story. All Whickerton siblings do 🙂
It will be book 6 in the series.

      Happy Reading!

      All the best,

      Bree

  15. I have been reading your Love’s Second Chance series and am very much enjoying them. I have a question regarding a character in your last book Scorned and Craved. The character Ian and his wolf are very similar to the Outlander series by Dianna Gabaldon. In her series she has a character Ian who has a wolf and is from Scotland. Have you read her books?

  16. Hi!
I’ve just recently flown through the whickerton’s in love series and i’m dying to know when we can expect book 4! is there a publication date yet?
    jessica

    • Hi Jessica,

sorry, I’m a bit late. I just saw your comment. Book 4 has been released on October 14. I hope you received the news and enjoyed the book!

      All the best,

      Bree

  17. Hello, Bree:

I found your books by chance within the last few months, and they have been such a joyful find! I appreciate the depth of the characters and your willingness to tackle richer subject matter than might be found elsewhere in books of this genre.

In particular, I want to say “thank you” for Oppressed and Empowered. While Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s has been renamed Level 1 ASD) was first described in 1925, those challenged by the social awareness problems you described in Richard have been known for centuries. In reading Richard’s story, I saw reflections of my son’s viewpoint of the world and his relationships with his friends and family. Just as with everyone, there is no one ASD personality type. And while my son may not be Richard in another time, the level of understanding and compassion you portray to him in your writing brings great joy to one who dearly loves a similar soul.

I look forward to your stories to come, and once again thank you for sharing them with your readers.

    Becky

  18. Hi Bree,

Thank you for sharing your world of regency romance with us! I came upon you from a FB sponsored ad and binged Whickertons in love this month. LOVE the series!!!!

I cannot wait to read Troy and Nora’s story! You definitely left me on a cliff hanger with how the epilogue ended in Juliet’s story. Have you started Troy’s story, and when will that be released?

All the best to you <3

  19. I have read all your books and started rereading them. I was wondering if there will be a book about Victoria (from Ruined and Redeemed) and finding her happily after.

  20. Loved you’ve put a ‘family tree’ for your Second Chance books but the jpg writing loses clarity when you enlarge it to read the names. Are you able to upload it in a format that will enlarge?

I am enjoying your books – glad you settled on a writing career!
    Best wishes, Chris

  21. Hi, Bree,

I recently stumbled upon your Second Chance-Highlander series and have just finished book 5. I loved this series! Now I need to go back and read all the other related books. What a great problem to have! I just need to know…does Blair already have a book, or is her story yet to come?

Thanks for writing stories that are engaging and character driven. In my opinion, they are fine examples of what romance novels should be.

    Judy

  22. Hello, will you or have you written about Blair , Niall and the Duret brothers as grownups?

Also, your books have been wonderful.

  23. Hi been reading all your series but after reading about Highland Tales and Damsels and Knights wondering if you will continue their stories especially Blair’s and her brother along with the Duret’s Alexandra’s sons . You left me wondering what happened to them. it also would be nice to do a Christmas gathering of all like other authors do to know their children and how they ended
    thank you

  24. I just discovered your books on Amazon. I just finished the Flames of Winter series and OMG what a wonderful story. Loved the characters, and the stories. I laughed and I cried. Such a beautiful, heart tugging journey. I just hope there is more to come from those characters and look forward to losing myself in your other books.
