Will there be a book about Adelaide, Beth's half-sister from book six?
Yes, Adelaide's story will be told in book twelve.
-
Where can I find the first four novellas?
At the moment, the novellas are only available through Amazon as they are currently in Kindle Unlimited.
-
Do you have to read the Love's Second Chance Series in order?
Well, you don't have to have to, but I strongly recommend that you do. Some of the heroines and heroes of later novels were once supporting characters in earlier ones and vice versa. In addition, some novels build on what happened in earlier novels. I hope this is not too confusing, but I don't want to give anything away and ruin a book for one of you out there.
-
Do any of the characters in the Love's Second Chance Series appear in later books?
Yes, definitely. As noted under question 3, many characters appear in a number of novels.
-
Which book continues Tristan's story in Abandoned & Protected (book 4)?
In the end of book 4, Henrietta and Connor come to their own personal relathionshipy happily-ever-after. However, Henrietta's story is strongly connected to her brother's, Tristan. His story continues in Betrayed & Blessed (book 6).
-
Will there be books about Oliver, Madeline and Victoria?
Yes, definitely. Madeline's story will be told in Deceived & Honoured (book 7). Then Oliver will be next in book 9 while Victoria will have to wait for her turn a little longer.
-
How many books will there be in the Love's Second Chance Series?
Well, at the moment, I have specific plans for twelve. However, I already have more vague ideas, which I still need to work on in more detail.
Here a short overview of what I know so far:
#9 Violet & Oliver
#10 Alexandra & Antoine (Violet's parents)
#11 Evelyn & Richard
#12 Adelaide & Matthew
The next books will probably feature Moira (book 4), Claudia (book 5), Victoria (book 5), Adelaide's brother John (book 6) as well as the as-of-yet unknown stepsister of Oliver's match (book 8).
Is there a sequel or will there be a sequel to “The Wrong Brother”?
Hi Mary, yes there is 🙂 Have a look at “A Brilliant Rose”
Will Evelyn and Richard’s story come out in 2018? Thanks!
Yes! It will be released before christmas 🙂
Bree thanks so much! 🙂
I’m reading Hearts to Be Mended (Forbidden Love). Will Conquering her Heart
Conquering her Heart be the last in the series? Hope not 🙂
Hi Victoria! I am very sorry to disappoint you. Conquering her Heart is indeed the last novella in this series. But there will be coming more in the Love’s Second Chance Series! And my mind is already busy working on something new 🙂 All the best, Bree
When will How to Return a Lady’s Slipper come out?
Hi Sharla,
it’ll be released in February or March next year!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
When will Tamed & Unleashed –The Highlander’s Vivacious Wife (book 13) be released?
Hi Sheila. Tamed & Unleashed will be released late spring/early summer. Best, Bree
Do you think about writting about a fat hero? I’m searching all over the internet for one.
Loving your books
Kisses
Hi Geovana, no, to tell you the truth, I haven’t yet thought about writing about a fat hero. 🙂 But it’s an intriguing thought. I’ll definitely keep it in mind. Thanks for the inspiration!
Bree:
Just finished Ruined and Redeemed and I have to say, that it was nice to see Charlotte overcome her obstacles and that she found someone who helped her find herself and to find a special love. Thank you for writing books that have heroes and heroines work out difficult problems together. It’s definitely a breath of fresh air. All the best to you and future novels.
PS: Can’t wait for Oliver’s and Victoria’s books
Andrea,
Oliver’s story is already available in Condemned & Admired (#9) whereas Victoria’s story is not around the corner yet. At the moment, I have her listed for the last book in the series (#20), a story which I hope will feature most of the couples we’ve encountered in previous books.
All the best,
Bree
When does Tamed & Unleashed – The Highlander’s Vivacious Wife comes out?
Hello Jen.
Tamed & Unleashed will be released late spring/early summer this year.
All the best,
Bree
Hi Bree
I’m loving your books! Haven’t been able to put them down. I just finished Charlotte and Sebastian story, is great how you brought her back and redeemed her. Are you planning on bringing back Phillip? If so, would he come back to create havoc or would he change?
Yes, Phillip will return, and yes, he will wreak havoc. He is one of the unredeemable ones, I’m afraid.
Hi. I just read your Once upon a kiss gone horribly wrong story. Are there are books? Is Louisa and Leonora getting a book?
Hi Yvonne!
I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed Anne’s and Tobias’s story!
And yes, Louisa and Leonora will get their own stories. Louisa’s will be released in January and is the first book of my new THE WHICKERTONS IN LOVE series. It’s called: Once Upon a Devilishly Enchanting Kiss.
When you are subscribed to my newsletter or following my website or any social media accounts, you’ll be the first to know when the book is available for pre-order.
All the best,
Bree
Thank you so much ❤️
Will Maryann get a book?
Hi Marjorie, I haven’t planned a story for her yet. But never say never! 🙂
Are any of the series intertwined? If so, what is the suggested reading order?
Hello Jenny,
each story in this series can be read as a stand alone. However, most readers prefer to read them in order, since some of the secondary characters get their own stories in later sequels.
You can have a look at the series graph to get an idea: http://www.breewolf.com/loves-second-chance-series-family-tree/
All the best,
Bree
I just finished “How to Wake a Sleeping Lady,” and I’m seeing a title of “How to tame a beastly lord” as the next book, but I don’t see it anywhere on Amazon for my Kindle. Is it available? I’d appreciate an answer to my e-mail. Thanks!
Hi Martha,
yes, that’s the net one in this series. But it is not available yet. It will be published most likely in October. Hang in there!
Bree
I have just finished and enjoyed Henrietta’s story in Abandoned and Protected. But two of the secondary characters (the parents of Liam, son of Reid) caught my attention. Reid seems to be a good man but he lost the woman he wanted to another and married without love. Liam describes his mother as someone who is determined to be cheerful. That doesn’t seem to be a happy marriage. I would love to read a story about an older couple who find love at last in their own marriage.
Hello Dolores
Yes, that’s a wonderful idea for a story. I’ll add it to my long list of wonderful ideas and hope that I’ll be able to sit down and write it some time soon. It’s so hard to decide whose story to write first! They all deserve their chance at a happily-ever-after!
All the best,
Bree
Henri and Juliet??? Did I miss their story??
Hello Tamara,
Henri and Juliet will get their own story, but it’s not written down yet 🙂
All the best,
Bree
Hello! I’m a huge fan of your “Love’s Second Chance” series and I would love to read the prequel. I signed up for the email newsletter and clicked on the link I was emailed, but I’m still not sure how to access the book. I would greatly appreciate some guidance.
Hi Marlena,
sometimes emails end up in spam. Please check your spam folder!
If you cannot find the email with the free prequel, please drop me an email at info@breewolf.com
All the best,
Bree
Hi Bree. I just finished reading Adelaide’s story and i must ask, are you still planning on writing a novel about her brother? Saw here that you had planned to do it and I hope so much that there will be one 😀
Hello Selma,
yes, it is planned, but not written yet. But we also meet him again in #15 Haunted & Revered which was just released on Amazon.
Happy reading!
All the best,
Bree
I think I’ve read all your books in the past couple of months. I love them! Now anxiously, maybe even impatiently, waiting for the story of Henri and Juliet.
Ms. Wolf, I have read and re-read the wonderful books you have written. Just wondering if there is a due date for Book 16 (Maggie & Nathan). Settling in with one of your books is like a warm blanket, a cup of hot tea, and an emotionally satisfying experience. Your heroines are just who they are (strengths & weaknesses) and your heroes are not knights in shining armor riding in to save the day. Love your character development as well as your allowing process and development to shape & change each person we meet in your novels. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and stories with us all.
Hello Margot,
thank you so much for your wonderful and kind words. I’m so glad to hear that!
Book 16 will be released this summer. If you’re subscribed to my newsletter, you’ll be one of the first to receive the news.
All the best,
Bree
(For anyone who is NOT Bree Wolf, be warned that the following questions contain SPOILERS for book 16 of LSC (and possibly 3 of HER):
1) Do you have any idea what other stories will be coming in the next year or so?
2) There are currently 16 books out, and you’ve mentioned that you plan for 20. Can I assume that the last four books will be Henri & Juliet, Ian (probably after H & J, since book 16 implied that he’s on Henri’s ship), John, and then finally Victoria (unless those two are the same book, in which case IDK)?
3) Various characters of LSC seem to walk in and oiut of each other’s stories, which I really enjoy. However, we haven’t really seen Rosabel, Graham, Edmund & Anna (other than the great round-up of book 9) in a while– any chance they’ll show up in future books?
4) For all the various types of second-chance love that appear in LSC, there’s one that’s almost conspicuously absent: a character who’s been in a stable, loving, and happy marriage before losing their spouse finding love again. Is there a particular reason for this, and are you planning on writing any stories like that in the future? (Perhaps Marianne, Leopold’s widow?)
What fairy tale is “How to Steal a Theif’s Heart ” based on?
4) Will there be more stories in the Happy Ever Regency series, and if so, will they all be in pairs/duos the way “How to Wake a Sleeping Lady” & “How to Tame a Beastly lord” was (and it seems as though “How to Climb a Lady’s Tower” & “How to Steal a Thief’s Heart” will be)?
Well, those are a lot of questions. Let me see.
There will be a few more books coming in the Love’s Second Chance series although I cannot say at the moment when they’ll be published. But, yes, Ian will get his own story as well as Henri and Juliet, John and last but not least Victoria. I might have another one or two in mind that I’m not sure about yet.
I always try to bring back previous characters in a way it makes sense. But, yes, I hope we’ll see the early characters again in one of the last books.
“How to Steal a Thief’s Heart” is based on Robin Hood. There will be two more novels in that series. Stay tuned! 🙂
Will Ian have a book. Is he still alive. Make it yes and make him a pirate. Give his kind de especially Blair closure.
Val, you’re on the right track…although I haven’t figured out all the details yet. 🙂
Bree,
I’m in the process of rereading books of yours that are in my library, so that I can leave honest reviews. Did I wait too late to respond to the email about being a member of your launch team?
Thank you for the great stories,
Kelsey
Hi Kelsey,
no of course not. I’m always looking for new members who enjoy my books. Just drop me an email including one of your reviews at info@breewolf.com.
Thank you!
All the best,
Bree
Hello! I discovered your books last week and I’m already in the third one (I’m not reading them in order). My question is: Will Maryann have her own book? I know she was happy with Leopold but I’d love her to have her happily ever (long) after.
Hello Sara!
I’m glad to hear that you are enjoying my books. So far, there are no plans for a second love for Maryann.
But if you’re eager to find out how Leopold and Maryann meet, I just published the prequel Persuaded & Rescued – The Heir’s Lady in Shining Armour that tells their story!
I hope you enjoy it!
All the best,
Bree
Hi Bree,
I just read your book Tamed & Unleashed – The Highlander’s Vivacious Wife.
I truly enjoyed it so very much!. You have a follower now and I have begun reading the second book in the set. Thank you so much for your excellent writing filled with life’s twist and turns as well as very nicely clean romance.
Hi Dolores!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you are enjoying the series!
Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas!
When can we hope to see Henri and Juliet’s story?
This fall!!
I actually feel a little sorry for Diana Lawson Reingold, despite the fact that she was whiny and everything that happened to her was her own fault. Any plans to redeem her and give her a story of her own where she matures and finds some happiness?
Hi Linda,
I felt for Diana as well. She actually did get her happily-ever-after in Rules to be Broken.
Happy Reading!
All the best,
Bree
