Rebecca Connolly’s Arrangement Series (part I)

An Arrangement of SortsAn Arrangement of Sorts

by Rebecca Connolly

This novel is truly adorable, sweet and witty.

Determined to find her lost betrothed, Moira hires Nathaniel Hammond, Earl of Beverton, (of course, she doesn't know he's an earl!) to assist her in her search. Nathaniel accepts because...somehow she intrigues him.

Two strangers thrust together by chance, united by a common goal...or aren't they?

I loved this theme right away because it's so full of hidden possibilities...especially since our heroine is already betrothed so nothing can really happen between them...or can it? Well, we all know that love blossoms in the most unlikely places...and whenever you least expect it. Also, the quirky banter between them was hilarious and had me laughing out loud more than once. At the same time, the novel was emotionally deep and truly touching. I definitely need to read the next one.

Married to the Marquess

by Rebecca Connolly

This Regency Romance is truly one of a kind.

Well, for starters, it's an arranged marriage story between two people who simply cannot stand each other. Delightful, right?

Derek Chambers, Marquess of Whitlock, hates his wife. He hates everything about her. He goes out of his way to avoid her until...her mother dies and duty compels him to her side...at least until the funeral. Then he will be free to go his merry way.

Then there is Katherine, his wife, who despises her husband just as much, thinking him a lazy imbecile, until...all of a sudden she can't seem to get rid of him.

They're thrust together and step by tantalizing step realize that maybe --just maybe--their spouse may not be the awful person they thought each other to be. The way they begin to turn to each other is so sweet and the growing chemistry between them is so touching, this book ended up in my MUST READ AGAIN pile.

Hold your breath...there are more novels to come! If you can't wait, check out Rebecca Connolly's homepage.

I'll get back to you as soon as I can squeeze in another reading break.
